The NYUMUNC VIiI Staff Application is for NYU students who wish to staff the conference in April. Please fill in the Respective application form after reviewing the available positions.

Crisis Analyst

Crisis Analysts form the backbone of our conference. Working with the committee Chair and Crisis Director, crisis analysts are responsible for researching and writing a background guide, which is then shared with delegates prior to the conference. Analysts also work in smaller committee groups to create and prepare domestic and international crisis simulations. During the conference, analysts assist Crisis Directors in putting these crises into action by writing articles and news updates, responding to delegates' notes, and even acting out events in the debate room. Crisis Analysts also assume general responsibilities shared by all staff members, such as writing Character Portfolios.
