Chair - Jenny Nguyen

Bio:

Jenny is a sophomore at NYU majoring in History with a minor in napping. With a Vietnamese French father and a Vietnamese Chinese mother, Jenny likes to think of herself as the by-product of Vietnamese Colonialism. Jenny accidentally committed herself to ModelUN in high school and made a pinky promise to continue it at NYU. She was the communications staffer for the Paraguay committee at NYUMUNCV, and was the SPECPOL chair for this year’s inaugural EmpireMUNC. When she is not found asleep or working, Jenny is a professional cuddler and dog sitter.

CD - Andrew Samuel

Bio:

Andrew is a Junior at NYU's Stern Business School. Studying Marketing, Management, and History, he has somehow managed to balance school with his MUN commitments. When he isn't running from a CD meeting to a travel team practice, Andrew can be found eating, napping, trying to find motivation to exercise, or usually wasting away in front of his computer. His recent obsession with Game of Thrones has severely interfered with his manga reading and has consumed all of his time to game. Despite all this, Andrew still finds a way to get everything done without sleeping in class too often.

CD - Emma Zhang

Bio:

Emma is a first year studying Economics and Mathematics who likes to compare her relationship with Model UN to that of a shotgun wedding. She was dragged to a travel team tryout against her will by a high school friend and forced to speak because everyone else in the room had already spoken. Then, on the train to her first conference, she was approached by the USG of crisis, asked "Iran, yes or no?" and the rest is history. Emma does a good job of making sure she has no free time by falling asleep every free moment, and when you don't see her questioning her life decision about joining Model UN, you'll probably find her staring blankly at math, reading something she was supposed to have read 5 weeks prior and/or eating Chipotle.
